Digging Deeper - Eddie Would Go
The Story of Eddie Aikau
Welcome to Iglesia Cristiana Getsemani's Digging Deeper series focused on the inspiring story of Eddie Aikau, a legendary Hawaiian surfer and lifeguard. The Spirit of "Eddie Would Go"
"Eddie Would Go" became a phrase associated with Eddie Aikau and his unwavering commitment to helping others. In 1978, a time when big wave surfing was still in its early stages, Eddie Aikau became the very first lifeguard at Waimea Bay on the North Shore of Oahu, Hawaii. His extraordinary bravery earned him great respect among the surfing community.
